TRS Crew Member – Drilling Operations

About the role

As a TRS Crew Member you will work at the heart of rig operations, supporting tubular running activities that are essential to well construction. You will operate specialized mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to safely handle, run and make‑up casing and tubing on both onshore and offshore wells.

Key responsibilities

• Operate TRS equipment such as power tongs, elevators, slips, spiders, torque‑turn systems and hydraulic power units safely and professionally.
• Assist with rig‑up and rig‑down of TRS tools, including stabbing boards, power units and tubular handling equipment.
• Communicate with drill floor operators, clients and subcontractors to coordinate safe operations.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, inspections and minor maintenance on equipment before, during and after jobs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, attend rig safety meetings and report hazards immediately.
• Complete job documentation, activity reports and support operational tasks as directed by the Operations Coordinator.

Required profile

• General knowledge of the oil and gas industry; prior TRS or drilling‑related field experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
• Effective communication skills in high‑pressure environments.
• Technical degree (2‑year) or equivalent technical training and field experience.
• Problem‑solving ability, procedural compliance and equipment readiness.
• Willingness to travel for onshore/offshore assignments and work variable schedules, including on‑call and shift‑based operations.
