Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Manager

About the role

The Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Manager will lead the administration and operation of UH services for a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia, ensuring compliance with government regulations and delivering quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day UH operations and management of appropriated funds.
• Implement and maintain inventory management practices.
• Complete and maintain required training certifications (PAY.GOV, EBILLING, eMH, CNIC UH, HLC).
• Manage financial processes, payment systems, and transactional compliance within PAY.GOV and EBILLING.
• Ensure accurate data processing and reporting in Enterprise Military Housing (eMH).
• Be on‑site during regular government hours and respond within one hour to after‑hours support requests.
• Monitor facilities to meet standards and resolve housing operation issues.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to housing staff.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience administering unaccompanied housing operations, appropriated funds, and inventory management.
• At least one year of college or university education (or high school diploma/equivalent).
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining validity and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to pass and maintain contract medical requirements.
• Availability on‑site during regular government hours and ability to respond within one hour after hours.
