About the role

We are seeking a reliable Waiter/Waitress to join our hospitality team in Westlands, Kenya. The successful candidate will deliver prompt, courteous service in a fast‑paced, full‑service restaurant environment, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.

Key responsibilities

• Take customer orders and serve food and beverages accurately and promptly.
• Answer menu questions, provide recommendations and anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain clean, organized tables and dining areas, setting up linens, silverware and glassware.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues with tact.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, bar staff and fellow waitstaff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Complete end‑of‑shift duties such as cleaning, restocking and organizing supplies.
• Participate in all required training and certification programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a server in a full‑service restaurant or club.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to obtain necessary visas.
• Pass medical clearance and maintain required facility credentials.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and attention to detail.

Required skills

• CPR/AED certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Food Safety and Sanitation certification.
• Alcohol Server Intervention certification (if applicable).
