Warehouse Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading warehouse and logistics service provider, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee the safe and efficient movement, handling and storage of products in a cold‑store environment. The role involves managing staff, equipment and ensuring compliance with customer requests and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations, ensuring efficient space utilization.
• Manage stock control, reconcile inventory with the data storage system and produce regular IN/OUT and dead‑stock reports.
• Prepare the annual budget and monitor financial performance of the warehouse.
• Plan work rotas, assign tasks, coach and motivate employees, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and security legislation and corporate safety programs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment, preferably with cold‑chain operations.
• Strong understanding of sustainability challenges and initiatives in the manufacturing sector.
• Proven ability to work in a corporate, matrixed environment with multiple cross‑functional stakeholders.
