About the role
We are looking for an Accountant to provide accounting and finance support to the Finance Manager at Strategic Deposit Taking Sacco Ltd. The role is based in Nairobi’s Westlands area and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic Sacco environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide accounting and finance support to the Finance Manager.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related business field.
- CPA (K) certification.
- Minimum three years of experience in an accountant or finance role within a Sacco or similar financial institution.
- Strong business sense, initiative and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning and organisational abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with IT tools for accounting.
- Budget preparation and monitoring.
- Report writing.
