AMO Electromechanical Technician

About the role

Join Baker Hughes' Drilling Services AMO team as an Electromechanical Technician. You will assemble, test, repair and overhaul cutting‑edge drilling equipment, working closely with mechanical, electrical and scientific specialists to keep our down‑hole tools and surface instrumentation reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
• Perform scheduled, preventive and corrective maintenance on factory equipment.
• Execute quality‑assurance activities in line with manufacturing, engineering and ISO requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues.
• Support maintenance and reliability initiatives for drilling and evaluation tools.

Required profile

• Diploma or relevant degree in a technical field.
• 3‑4 years of maintenance experience in electro‑mechanical drilling functions.
• Previous experience with Baker Hughes is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
