Banking & Finance Lawyer – Project/Infrastructure Finance

About the role

Join a leading global development finance institution as a senior Banking and Finance Lawyer. You will lead high‑value project and infrastructure finance transactions across multiple regions, providing legal expertise and line‑management for a growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Support cross‑border initiatives and work with deal teams on structuring projects in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
• Manage and assess legal and transactional risks for complex financing deals.
• Draft, negotiate and review complex contracts, including shareholder agreements and loan documentation.
• Conduct horizon scanning and monitor existing and upcoming regulations.
• Liaise with external counsel and other stakeholders as required.

Required profile

• 3+ years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in project, development, infrastructure, or general banking and finance law, either in a top law firm or in‑house.
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on practical, business‑friendly solutions.
• Ability to take on line‑management responsibilities.
