BI Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled BI Developer to join Insdev Consulting. In this position you will design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions that turn raw data into actionable insights for internal teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI or Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Build and optimise data models to support reporting needs.
• Write and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into BI solutions.
• Perform ETL operations and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in existing BI solutions.
• Document BI processes, data flows and report specifications.
• Train and support end users on BI tools and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics or a related field.
• Proven experience with Power BI or Tableau, including DAX and data modelling.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Experience working with data warehouses and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of data visualisation best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Python or R is an added advantage.
