Casual Chef – Full‑time Kitchen Position

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Casual Chef to join our fast‑paced kitchen team in Nairobi. This full‑time position offers the chance to work in both hot and cold sections, delivering high‑quality dishes while supporting daily kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes in hot and cold kitchen sections according to menu specifications.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist in the preparation of all service dishes and ensure a clean, organized kitchen.
• Support inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering of supplies.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adapt to additional kitchen duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Catering.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
