Client Manager – Telco & Connectivity

About the role

NTT DATA is seeking a Client Manager to lead the growth and retention of its telco and connectivity portfolio. You will act as the primary liaison for regional clients, ensuring they receive a seamless experience across all solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships to drive expansion, renewals, and cross‑selling of solutions.
• Collaborate with NTT DATA offices and infrastructure to deliver consistent client experiences in each market.
• Achieve revenue and margin targets by aligning client needs with the company’s offerings.
• Utilise sales tools such as Salesforce.com to manage accounts, pipelines, and forecasts.
• Monitor and minimise churn while maximising client retention.
• Develop account strategies based on stakeholder influence, receptivity, and dissatisfaction.
• Conduct vulnerability analyses against competitors to keep client requirements central.
• Serve as the first point of contact for client issues and ensure compliance with international trade policies.

Required profile

• Strong sales business acumen with a focus on delivering commercial outcomes.
• Ability to understand clients’ financial and operational contexts.
• Proven experience in client engagement and lifecycle management.
• Excellent planning, forecasting, and pipeline management skills.
• Awareness of International Trade Policy requirements.
