Construction Interior Designer – Full‑time

About the role

The Construction Interior Designer will independently lead interior design projects from concept through hand‑over, ensuring designs meet client expectations, budgets and timelines. You will act as the primary design representative, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to deliver high‑quality interior solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative interior concepts, mood boards, material palettes and space‑planning layouts.
• Produce detailed design drawings, specifications and schedules using industry‑standard software.
• Manage projects end‑to‑end, from site surveys and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to on‑site supervision and quality checks.
• Maintain client relationships, present proposals, obtain approvals and provide regular progress updates.
• Prepare cost estimates, monitor budgets and recommend cost‑effective design alternatives.
• Conduct site inspections, verify workmanship against specifications and issue corrective actions.
• Oversee facility maintenance, repairs and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with budgets and timelines.
• Source materials, evaluate supplier proposals and coordinate deliveries and installations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years of experience delivering interior fit‑out projects in commercial, residential, hospitality or corporate settings.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3Ds Max and Lumion (or similar design tools).
• Strong space‑planning and visualization capabilities.
• Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and construction methods.
• Excellent project coordination, communication and problem‑solving skills.
