Data Scientist

About the role

The Data Scientist will advise the business on data potential, delivering new insights that drive performance through advanced statistical analysis, data mining, and visualization techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Build econometric and statistical models for projections, classification, clustering, pattern analysis, sampling and simulations.
• Establish state‑of‑the‑art scientific capabilities within the Data, Analytics & AI department.
• Provide forward‑thinking recommendations by understanding problem domains and business data assets.
• Execute ad‑hoc data mining and exploration on large datasets linked to business strategies.
• Generate actionable insights using predictive models, segmentation, customer profiling, survey design and data mining.
• Collaborate with fellow data scientists and stakeholders to improve decision‑making.
• Promote continuous improvement of processes and ensure compliance with policies and statutory guidelines.
• Participate in project execution, audit issue resolution, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Creative, highly driven and self‑motivated with a strategic perspective.
• Ability to analyse complex issues, synthesize diverse data, and develop actionable strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Economics or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience).
• At least three years of experience in business analysis, informatics or outcomes research within a fast‑paced environment.
• Certification in Big Data, Data Science or Generative AI is a plus.
• Practical experience with Gen AI or Agentic AI use cases is advantageous.
