Driver – Logistics & Transport

About the role

The company is seeking a reliable driver to support its logistics and distribution operations in Thika. You will be responsible for transporting goods and personnel safely while ensuring compliance with company policies and traffic regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods and personnel according to schedules.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips and maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Keep accurate vehicle logbooks and report any defects promptly.
• Load and unload goods safely, verify delivery documentation, and monitor fuel usage.
• Coordinate routine servicing and ensure security of transported items.
• Support the logistics team and respond to transport emergencies.

Required profile

• KCSE Certificate (minimum).
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Defensive Driving Certificate.
• At least three years of commercial driving experience.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and route planning ability.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• High integrity and a certificate of good conduct.
