Dynamometer Operator

About the role

The Dynamometer Operator will support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia, ensuring safe and efficient operation of dynamometer systems used for testing and diagnostics.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, operate, monitor and maintain dynamometer equipment according to guidelines.
• Conduct testing and diagnostic activities while keeping equipment within technical parameters.
• Monitor system performance, identify abnormalities and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on dynamometer systems and related equipment.
• Document operations, maintenance actions, test procedures and results in designated reporting systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and organizational regulations.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns and other operational problems to appropriate personnel.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated training and experience operating dynamometer systems.
• Ability to work safely and independently.
• Capability to submit required qualifications and training documentation prior to employment.
