About the role
KQ Health is offering an Engineering Apprentice Technician Program in Nairobi, designed to give entry‑level candidates hands‑on experience in aircraft maintenance while preparing them for a basic KCAA licence.
Key responsibilities
- Attend induction, mandatory and basic aircraft maintenance courses.
- Pass company examinations and prepare for the KCAA licence examinations.
- Perform assigned maintenance tasks during on‑the‑job training (OJT).
- Collaborate with experienced engineering teams throughout the training cycle.
- Participate in networking events and additional activities that strengthen professional connections.
Required profile
- Aeronautical or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma, HND or equivalent.
- KCSE aggregate C+ with C+ in Mathematics, English and Physics or equivalent.
- Proof of attachment during training.
- At least 2‑3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations (KCARs).
- Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance manuals.
- Good knowledge of aircraft systems.
