Financial Advisor (Insurance)

About the role

The Financial Advisor (Insurance) will drive new business and provide tailored insurance solutions to individuals and businesses in Nairobi. You will combine prospecting, client assessment and sales expertise to build a profitable portfolio while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, social media and industry events, maintaining a robust pipeline.
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to assess financial goals, risk exposure and insurance needs, and propose suitable products.
• Present insurance policies, prepare quotations and proposals, negotiate terms and close sales in line with company targets.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships, conduct policy reviews, and provide ongoing support for renewals and claims.
• Assist clients with policy applications, amendments, cancellations and guide them through claims procedures.
• Ensure adherence to insurance regulations, company policies and ethical sales practices, and produce accurate activity reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience or demonstrated ability in sales or insurance.
