Financial Planning Analyst

About the role

Moniepoint Inc., Africa’s leading all‑in‑one financial platform, is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to support the Head of Group FP&A. You will own forecasting, budgeting and reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries that lack a dedicated finance analyst.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Group consolidation model each month, reconcile actuals to forecast and highlight variances.
• Provide forecasting, budgeting and management‑reporting support to subsidiaries without their own FP&A resource.
• Prepare Board and management reporting packs on a fixed monthly/quarterly cadence.
• Support the annual budget process: create templates, collect data from business units, consolidate and comment on variances.
• Run variance analysis against budget and prior forecasts and draft narrative explanations.
• Track KPIs and unit‑economics across scoped entities.
• Respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests from the CFO, Head of Group FP&A or subsidiary leadership.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis or a similar corporate finance role.
• Part‑qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent analytical background.
• Experience working with multi‑entity or multi‑currency data.
• Preferred experience in banking, fintech or other regulated environments.
• Comfortable acting as the sole FP&A contact for a subsidiary and delivering reporting on a fixed cadence without close supervision.
