GIS Support Analyst

About the role

The GIS Support Analyst will use geographic information systems and spatial analysis to uncover market opportunities, optimise sales territories, and support data‑driven decision‑making. You will work closely with sales, marketing and IT teams to turn geographic and sales data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct GIS and spatial analysis to identify market opportunities, customer concentrations, territory gaps and sales coverage.
• Analyse sales performance across regions, distributors, customers, products and channels to spot trends and performance gaps.
• Generate market and customer intelligence to support acquisition, retention and growth strategies.
• Develop and maintain GIS, Power BI and business‑intelligence dashboards for performance monitoring.
• Perform sales forecasting, demand analysis and target planning using statistical and predictive analytics.
• Optimise sales territories, distributor coverage, customer allocation and routing using GIS and sales data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, data science or a related field.
• Strong analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends or holidays as needed.
