Graduate Software Engineering Trainee (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking innovative, self‑driven software engineers who are constantly learning and embracing new technologies. As a trainee you will work closely with experienced engineers to develop, test, and maintain software applications that support our business operations, while receiving on‑the‑job training and mentoring to build your software engineering skills.

Key responsibilities

• Document, design, develop and thoroughly test your code.
• Work in an agile environment, actively participating in scrum, sprint retrospectives and reviews.
• Adopt new engineering methods and integrate them into your workflow.
• Gain technical depth in the products within your team’s domain.
• Develop expertise in either frontend or backend development.

Required profile

• Experience developing or consuming web services (REST).
• Demonstrable knowledge of backend software development in Java.
• Creative, adaptable and enthusiastic about learning.
• Credible Git portfolio on a public repository.
• Minimum diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related fields (candidates awaiting graduation are welcome).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company data and IP.
• Self‑motivation to grow as a software engineer.
