Graduate Supply Chain Intern

About the role

World Vision is seeking a motivated graduate to join its Supply Chain team in Nairobi. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to procurement, logistics, and inventory management within a leading humanitarian organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior supply chain professionals in sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Support inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and distribution planning.
• Participate in data collection and reporting for supply chain performance metrics.
• Help prepare documentation for procurement processes and compliance checks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field, obtained within the last two years.
• Membership or certification from a recognized supply‑chain institute (e.g., KISM or CIPS) is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Familiarity with basic supply chain concepts and procurement procedures.
• Ability to work with spreadsheets and data entry tools.
