Graduate Supply Chain Internship

About the role

This 12‑month Graduate Supply Chain Internship offers recent graduates the chance to gain hands‑on experience in supply chain management within World Vision’s East Africa Regional Office. Working under the Regional Supply Chain Specialist, you will support inbound and outbound logistics, procurement, and inventory processes.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and apply industry‑standard supply chain best practices, including inventory management and demand forecasting.
• Navigate and use the ProVision online procurement system for requisitions, purchase orders and tracking.
• Assist with purchase order creation, supplier communication and follow‑up to ensure timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to identify process improvements and support catalogue management.
• Participate in team meetings, reporting and documentation of supply chain activities.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in logistics, supply chain, business or a related field.
• Strong interest in humanitarian work and willingness to work in an East African context.
• Good analytical mindset and ability to follow detailed procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ProVision procurement system.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and demand forecasting concepts.
• Experience handling purchase orders and supplier coordination.
