Head, Group FP&A

About the role

The Head of Group FP&A will design, own, and enforce the financial planning and analysis framework for Moniepoint’s subsidiaries and business units across Nigeria, Kenya, MonieWorld and Moniepoint Technologies. This role consolidates forecasts, budgets, and reports at the Group level, ensuring a single reliable view of performance without duplicating effort across local FP&A teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the Group’s FP&A framework, including forecasting architecture, budget process, and management‑reporting standards.
• Consolidate entity and business‑unit forecasts into a unified Group P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statement with currency toggles and inter‑company eliminations.
• Own the annual Group budget calendar, templates, timelines, challenge sessions and Board approval process.
• Produce and reconcile the consolidated Group forecast (2026‑28 and beyond) with monthly actuals, providing clear variance bridges.
• Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller to ensure clean month‑to‑month reconciliation of actuals, consolidation and forecasts.
• Run monthly and quarterly Group reporting cycles, delivering consolidated management accounts, Board packs and investor‑grade reports.
• Build and maintain the Group KPI and unit‑economics framework, ensuring consistent application across all entities.
• Partner with BU CFOs and finance leads as the standard‑setter and consolidator, while leaving day‑to‑day execution to local teams.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity modelling for strategic decisions such as new market entry, capital raises and licence applications.
