Housing Subsidy Liaison

About the role

The Housing Subsidy Liaison leads Springbrook’s Housing Subsidy Program, ensuring compliance with OPWDD guidelines and supporting safe, quality housing for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Apply OPWDD Housing Subsidy Program ADM 2022-03 guidance to create audit‑safe subsidy opportunities.
• Verify enrollee eligibility, select allowable housing, and meet quality‑assurance standards.
• Organize and complete annual recertification for all enrollees.
• Develop expertise in agency software and Springbrook’s billing and payment processes.
• Act as liaison among OPWDD, landlords, brokers, care managers, and providers to resolve tenancy issues.
• Attend OPWDD trainings and address policy questions from staff, individuals, and families.
• Support Springbrook’s philosophy and policies with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Experience with OPWDD and Medicaid billing (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and drive Springbrook vehicles.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer software with the ability to learn new systems.
