Human Resource Business Partner

About the role

The Human Resource Business Partner will work within Penda Health’s Integrated Patient Services department, partnering closely with managers to build and sustain high‑performing teams. This role acts as an employee champion, change agent, and trusted advisor, helping to drive the company’s mission of transforming healthcare in Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Support managers with ongoing employee assistance, ensuring teams feel empowered and equipped.
• Promote and uphold Penda’s inclusive culture by advocating for core values and practices.
• Identify and deliver coaching and training opportunities aligned with leadership development initiatives.
• Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, guiding managers on training resources and performance management processes.
• Assist in implementing and executing the performance management process in collaboration with managers and the HR department.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ethical leadership and genuine care for people and outcomes.
• Ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with insight.
• Mid‑level experience in HR business partnering or a comparable HR role.
