Human Resource Officer

About the role

The Human Resource Officer will support SureLift Solutions Limited in managing its workforce across the construction projects. You will ensure employee records are accurate, assist with recruitment, onboarding, and maintain compliance with HR policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records and personnel files.
• Support recruitment activities: job posting, screening, interviews, and selection.
• Coordinate staff onboarding and ensure completion of required documentation.
• Monitor attendance, leave, and absenteeism records.
• Prepare employment letters, contracts, and other HR documentation.
• Assist with payroll preparation by providing accurate staff information.
• Handle employee complaints, concerns, and general employee‑relations matters.
• Support management with disciplinary and performance‑related issues.
• Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and organisational information.
• Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support to management.
• Perform other HR duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• CHRP certification is an advantage.
• At least 24 months of experience in a Human Resources role.
• Good knowledge of HR administration and employee relations.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
