Laboratory Technician Intern

About the role

This full‑time internship offers hands‑on experience supporting the testing, installation and maintenance of medical and laboratory equipment. You will work closely with senior technicians to ensure equipment is ready for delivery and customers understand its operation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with equipment testing, preparation, basic operation and demonstrations.
• Support installation, routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
• Conduct pre‑delivery equipment checks and verify product specifications.
• Help prepare technical documentation and product specifications.
• Assist customers in understanding product features and applications during demonstrations at hospitals, labs and research facilities.
• Respond to basic technical inquiries and escalate complex issues.
• Coordinate equipment preparation and delivery, confirming that supplied products match customer specifications.
• Maintain records of leads, quotations, orders, deliveries and follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant practical or laboratory experience is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment, procedures and safety practices.
• Professional, organized and attentive to detail.
• Strong interest in medical, laboratory and scientific equipment.
• Willingness to learn technical products and develop customer‑facing skills.
