Operations Manager (Retail)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities across multiple retail outlets in Nairobi. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution to drive efficiency, improve customer experience, and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all retail locations, ensuring consistent standards and high service levels.
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while seeking cost‑saving process improvements.
• Lead inventory management, including demand forecasting, stock optimisation, replenishment and shrinkage control.
• Coordinate with procurement, HR, IT, and marketing to align resources and initiatives.
• Maintain a strong on‑ground presence to monitor performance, resolve issues and promote accountability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing retail operations (mid‑level).
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive performance.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on efficiency and cost reduction.
