Operations Team Member – Java Express

About the role

Join Java House Africa Ltd as an Operations Team Member at the Java Express outlet in Kisii. You will be part of a fast‑paced hospitality team delivering excellent service and ensuring food quality for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately.
• Maintain food presentation, temperature, and quality according to restaurant standards.
• Communicate order status and guest needs between kitchen and service staff.
• Keep waiter stations, tables, and the restaurant clean and organized.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and waste‑management procedures.
• Assist with restocking condiments, opening and closing duties, and support wait staff during busy periods.
• Present menu options, suggestive sell, and handle billing and payments.

Required profile

• Minimum KCSE certificate with a mean grade of C.
• At least 6 months experience as a certified Java House staff member.
• Strong planning, decision‑making under pressure, and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑oriented, reliable, flexible team player.
• Interest in the hospitality industry.
