Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

About the role

The role involves promoting and selling the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio to hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities across Kenya, while building strong professional relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company’s pharmaceutical products to hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors, pharmacists, nurses and procurement personnel.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic customer accounts.
• Conduct product presentations and educational meetings with healthcare professionals.
• Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts and market feedback.
• Follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries and customer payments.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in the Kenyan market.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across Kenya.
