Pricing Analyst – Commercial Finance (APAC)

About the role

The Pricing Analyst will drive profitable revenue growth by developing data‑driven pricing strategies and providing commercial financial insights. Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Finance, you will evaluate pricing performance, optimise margins and support strategic decision‑making in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to assess pricing effectiveness and recommend adjustments.
• Build and maintain financial models to forecast pricing impact and margin performance.
• Analyse large data sets to identify trends, pricing gaps and growth opportunities.
• Prepare commercial reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Ensure pricing decisions comply with financial controls and governance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or related field.
• CA or CPA qualification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in pricing analysis, commercial finance or financial analysis, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE or D365.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Financial modelling and forecasting expertise.
