Programs Intern

About the role

The Programs Intern will support KEPRO’s mission to improve waste management and environmental sustainability in Kenya. This position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in program delivery, partner onboarding, and community outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions for partners and community members.
• Assist with onboarding new partners and ensuring compliance.
• Conduct due‑diligence checks on partner activities.
• Support knowledge‑sharing initiatives and amplify KEPRO’s impact through community engagement.
• Help prepare reports and documentation related to program activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Education, Community Development, or a related field.
• Recent graduate (within 24 months of graduation) or equivalent entry‑level experience.
• Volunteer or academic project experience in community work or environmental sustainability.
• Familiarity with grassroots organisations or waste‑management initiatives is a plus.
