Project Manager – MEP

About the role

HR Box Africa is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) initiatives across large‑scale construction projects in Kenya. You will be responsible for delivering complex, mission‑critical facilities while ensuring quality, safety and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall project leadership and ensure timely delivery of MEP scope.
• Coordinate technical design, construction, commissioning and quality assurance activities.
• Manage procurement processes and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Oversee multi‑million‑dollar budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead multidisciplinary contractor teams and negotiate contracts and change orders.
• Engage with stakeholders, report progress and mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15–20 years of progressive MEP project management experience on large, high‑density facilities.
• Proven track record delivering complex construction projects on fast‑track programmes.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel and be based on‑site for extended periods.
