Public Relations & Corporate Communications Manager

About the role

Our client, a global Christian NGO, is seeking an experienced and strategic Public Relations & Corporate Communications professional to lead and strengthen its global communications, media relations, reputation management and corporate communications function. The role involves developing and implementing PR strategies, managing media relations, and overseeing both internal and external communications across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organisation’s Public Relations, Earned Media and Corporate Communications strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, media outlets, podcast hosts and other key influencers.
• Manage media enquiries, interviews, press releases, media statements, pitches and thought‑leadership opportunities.
• Prepare executives for interviews, speaking engagements and major announcements, including speeches and briefing materials.
• Lead reputation monitoring, crisis communications planning and stakeholder messaging.
• Oversee internal communications to keep employees informed and aligned with organisational priorities.
• Manage relationships and performance of external PR agencies and communications partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications, media relations or journalism.
• Proven experience leading communications initiatives across multiple countries or global markets.
• Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling and executive communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management and project management abilities.

• Experience with PR and media monitoring platforms such as Cision.
• Experience with Meltwater.
• Experience with Muck Rack.
