R2P Accountant (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

The R2P Accountant will manage end‑to‑end Requisition‑to‑Pay processes, supporting Arabic‑speaking entities and suppliers. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant handling of invoices, expenses, vendor data, and month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and travel expenses, performing three‑way matching with purchase orders and goods receipts.
• Maintain vendor master data, onboard new suppliers, and reconcile statements.
• Prepare payment registers, execute payments according to approval matrices, and support urgent payment requests.
• Support month‑end R2P closing, including accruals, reconciliations, and balance‑sheet account preparation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements, maintaining complete documentation.
• Produce AP ageing, invoice tracking, and performance reports; monitor KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in automation or system‑enhancement projects.
• Assist internal and external audits related to R2P activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, R2P or Finance Shared Services.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic (mandatory) and strong English communication skills.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems for financial processing.
