Sales Representative – Cosmetics

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Sales Representative to drive the growth of our cosmetics portfolio across Nairobi and surrounding areas. The role involves acquiring new retail and salon partners, managing existing accounts, and ensuring product availability while representing a premium beauty brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver client presentations with the sales and marketing team.
• Identify and onboard new customers such as retailers, salons, distributors, and beauty shops.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular visits and follow‑ups.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and proper account management.
• Conduct field visits to monitor market activity and product performance.
• Execute route plans and keep an updated customer database.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with distributors.
• Collect and report market intelligence on competitors and emerging trends.
• Submit daily/weekly sales and field activity reports to the Sales Director.
• Travel within the assigned territory to expand market coverage and visibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in FMCG, cosmetics or beauty.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or related field (Diploma accepted with solid experience).
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in field sales, retail distribution and account management across modern and general trade channels.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Strong customer relationship management and problem‑solving skills.
• Well‑groomed, confident and able to represent a premium beauty brand professionally.
• Passion for cosmetics, skincare and beauty trends.
• Fluency in English and local languages.
