Sales Representative

About the role

Plasma Solar Limited is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to promote its solar solutions across Kenya. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective customers, educating them on renewable energy options and guiding them through the purchase process.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads through in‑store sales, social media enquiries, cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Conduct detailed consultations to assess customers' energy needs and eligibility for solar installations.
• Present and demonstrate Plasma Solar products, highlighting features, benefits and value propositions.
• Prepare persuasive sales proposals and quotations, handling objections to close deals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, installation scheduling and post‑sales support.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline management in the CRM system.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product developments and competitor activities.
• Achieve and exceed defined sales targets and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field is a plus.
• Proven track record in sales with consultative selling experience and meeting revenue targets.
• Experience managing social media channels and converting leads into sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build long‑term customer relationships.
• Strong organisational abilities to plan tasks and collaborate with colleagues.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a passion for renewable energy.

Required skills
