Security Guard Rider Supervisor

About the role

The Security Guard Rider Supervisor will lead daily security operations across assigned zones in Nairobi, ensuring safety, compliance, and client satisfaction. This role combines supervisory duties with on‑site patrols using a motorcycle, requiring strong leadership and operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily security activities within designated areas.
• Manage deployment, discipline, welfare, and performance of security personnel.
• Address staffing gaps, absenteeism, and deployment needs promptly.
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, patrols, and spot checks.
• Maintain strong client relationships to deliver service excellence.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, SOPs, and client requirements.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and equipment provision for new guards.
• Investigate incidents, emergencies, and operational challenges, preparing detailed reports.
• Coordinate on‑the‑job and refresher training for security staff.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and operational documentation.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
• Ensure full coverage and efficiency within the assigned zone.

Required profile

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma in Business Studies, Security Management, Criminology, or related field; a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Security Management is an advantage.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a Security Supervisor in a reputable security company.
• Valid motorcycle riding licence with Category A1 and A2 endorsements and at least three years of active riding experience.
• Willingness to work throughout Nairobi and surrounding areas.
