Solids Control Operator – Oilfield Services

About the role

As a Solids Control Operator you will support the delivery of Fluids Environmental Services by mobilising, operating and demobilising a range of solids‑control equipment such as dryers, centrifuges, vacuums, screw conveyors and pumps.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare for jobs, perform tool maintenance and conduct pre‑ and post‑job equipment check‑outs.
• Troubleshoot equipment, carry out maintenance and order necessary supplies.
• Follow all Baker Hughes Health, Safety and Environment policies and complete required paperwork and daily reports.
• Attend safety meetings and execute special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of related experience and product‑line training.
• Strong computer navigation skills for job reporting and communication.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on‑call 24 × 7 and stay on site for extended periods.
• Awareness of health, safety and environmental compliance.
