Technical Assistance Facility Coordinator

About the role

The Technical Assistance Facility Coordinator will lead the coordination of technical assistance for the Refugee Investment Facility, supporting nutrition and health‑systems strengthening initiatives in Kenya. The role bridges evidence‑based maternal nutrition interventions with programme implementation, ensuring high‑quality delivery and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical assistance activities for the Refugee Investment Facility, aligning them with nutrition and health‑systems goals.
• Provide technical advice and translate scientific evidence into actionable programme components.
• Review technical documents, implementation plans, and programme deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, learning and the effective use of programme data.
• Contribute to the development of technical reports, guidance documents and knowledge products.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to strengthen maternal nutrition programmes across African contexts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in nutrition, public health nutrition, maternal health and nutrition, nutrition and international development.
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible technical experience in international development, public health, nutrition or health‑systems strengthening.
• Over 5 years of experience supporting nutrition programmes in international development, NGO or public‑health settings.
• Demonstrated experience with maternal nutrition interventions, including multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS) and calcium supplementation.
• Experience supporting maternal nutrition programmes in one or more African countries.
