Tender Representative Executive

About the role

The Tender Representative Executive will lead the tendering function for Prospectus Therapeutics, driving the identification, preparation and submission of competitive bids across the healthcare sector in East Africa. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will manage a team of tender officers and coordinate closely with supply‑chain, finance and procurement partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate tender opportunities from platforms such as UNGM, PPRA, local newspapers and specialised tender portals.
• Select appropriate products (pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, laboratory supplies) and verify supplier compliance with technical specifications.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers, incorporate all costs into the import model and ensure bid competitiveness.
• Prepare, compile and submit complete bid documentation, ensuring all certifications and specifications are met.
• Track bid progress, follow‑up with procuring entities and manage post‑award logistics, including importation, delivery and payment coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in tender management or bid coordination within the healthcare industry.
• Proactive, highly organized and meticulous with a strong results orientation.
• Excellent analytical ability to assess bid competitiveness and compliance.
