Trade Marketing & Brand Execution Manager

About the role

The Trade Marketing & Brand Execution Manager will lead the development and implementation of trade marketing strategies that boost brand visibility, consumer engagement and sales performance for a leading FMCG portfolio. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will work closely with sales, operations and external agencies to ensure consistent brand execution across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the annual trade marketing and brand growth strategy, including promotional calendars and seasonal campaigns.
• Drive retail execution through merchandising, in‑store activations, shelf‑share growth, cooler placements and outlet penetration across modern trade, general trade, wholesale, hospitality and institutional channels.
• Lead brand activations such as sampling programs, roadshows, events and experiential marketing to increase consumer awareness and loyalty.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, designers, photographers and digital partners, ensuring all assets meet brand standards.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and channel performance; analyse KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to improve market share and ROI.
• Oversee trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• 5–10 years of progressive FMCG experience with proven success in trade marketing, brand execution and route‑to‑market development.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale activations, promotional campaigns and retail execution projects.
