Travel & Tours Marketer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic marketer to promote our travel and tour services in Nairobi. The role combines field marketing, lead generation and digital content creation to attract new customers and strengthen existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for travel products and services.
• Conduct field marketing activities to identify and acquire new customers.
• Generate, follow up and convert leads into customers.
• Visit potential clients, businesses, institutions and partners to promote services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Manage and grow the company’s presence on social media platforms.
• Create engaging digital content, including posts, captions, graphics, photos and short videos.
• Support digital advertising and online promotional campaigns.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries and online engagement.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, activations, exhibitions and promotional events.
• Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, leads, customer acquisition and campaign performance.
• Work towards achieving assigned marketing and customer acquisition targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Tourism, Hospitality or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales or digital marketing.
• Experience in a travel agency or tourism‑related business is an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in field marketing and/or digital marketing.
• Ability to generate leads and convert prospects into customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Knowledge of digital marketing practices and content creation.
