Videographer and Editor

About the role

We are a fast‑growing Nairobi group that operates three food‑focused brands – Bun & Beef, MaliBowl and The Helmet Hub. We are looking for a creative Videographer and Editor to join our in‑house marketing team and produce engaging visual content for social media and delivery platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Shoot and edit short‑form videos for Instagram, TikTok and online menus.
• Generate content ideas and collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns.
• Capture still photographs of food and products for menus and promotional material.
• Manage all on‑set elements including framing, lighting, audio and food styling.
• Deliver fast, trend‑driven pieces as well as polished campaign videos.
• Cover in‑store activations, events and brand installations, sometimes during evenings or weekends.
• Organise and back up footage for future reuse.
• Follow the content calendar and meet scheduled deadlines.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience shooting and editing short‑form video, preferably for food & beverage or lifestyle brands.
• Portfolio or show‑reel that demonstrates personal shooting and editing work.
• Comfortable handling cameras, lenses, lighting kits and on‑camera audio.
• Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, plus Cap Cut or After Effects for captions and motion graphics.
• Creative mindset with the ability to propose fresh ideas.
• Organised, reliable and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work across three distinct brand identities.
• Own equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
