B2B Business Development Manager

About the role

Tari Africa Platforms is seeking a full‑time, on‑site B2B Business Development Manager to drive growth of its SaaS solutions across the Kenyan market. You will identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and deliver tailored technology services that boost operational efficiency for small and medium‑size enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and engage potential business clients in the B2B segment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned with market trends.
• Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with internal product and support teams to deliver customized SaaS solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within a B2B environment.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Expertise in SaaS platforms or technology‑related services.
• Ability to analyse market trends and devise strategic plans.
• Self‑driven, goal‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple client portfolios.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in the Kenyan market and knowledge of SMB networks is a plus.
