Banquet Chef

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Banquet Chef to lead the daily operations of our banquet kitchen and work closely with the Executive Chef. You will create memorable dining experiences for large events while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient daily functioning of the banquet kitchen and coordinate with the Executive Chef.
• Develop new concepts, design menus and standardised recipes, and manage ordering to minimise food costs.
• Ensure product quality, consistency and hygiene for all dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Allocate kitchen resources, train and coach banquet staff, and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to guarantee timely service and high‑quality food preparation.
• Apply food safety guidelines, complete ECOSURE daily checks, temperature logs, labeling and cleaning of storage areas.
• Lead morning and evening service shifts and respond to feedback from guests, sales and F&B teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Banquet Chef or in a similar role.
• Professional culinary education (Culinary Arts degree or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Passionate about creating unique dishes and building a talented team.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Polished appearance and excellent communication skills.
