Building Manager

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a Building Manager in Ongata Rongai. The post covers day-to-day inspection, maintenance coordination, cleaning oversight and general security of the buildings managed, with a stated salary of KShs 35,000-38,000.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily scheduled inspections of the building at start of work and at the end of the day.
• Post repair and maintenance work in the ZOHO log and follow up so that work is completed on time and there are no backlogs.
• Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance, repairs and all trades (mechanical, electrical, architectural, civil, water-related).
• Follow up with users to confirm that work meets their expectations.
• Accompany service technicians on periodic maintenance such as lifts and fire extinguishers and sign the worksheets.
• Take daily attendance of cleaners and oversee their cleaning according to the shared schedule.
• Oversee the general security of the buildings and open users' offices only during cleaning or maintenance or when called.
• Acknowledge and resolve complaints about building management.
• Check that materials needed for events are in place and that they are returned in good condition after events, reporting any damage immediately.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in business management or project management from an accredited college or university.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in project management or property management.
• Project management exposure.
