Civil & Structures Design Specialist

About the role

The Civil & Structures Design Specialist will support the coordination and integration of civil, structural and infrastructure systems across all design phases for new resort projects. Working within the Sani/Ikos Group, you will ensure that engineering solutions align with architectural intent, guest experience goals and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate civil and structural design with architecture, interior design, landscape, MEP and specialist disciplines, identifying and resolving technical conflicts.
• Review and integrate consultant submissions, calculations, drawings and coordination packages throughout schematic, detailed, tender and construction stages.
• Lead technical reviews with external civil, structural, geotechnical and infrastructure consultants to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Support regulatory compliance checks against local building codes, seismic, fire life‑safety and accessibility standards.
• Assist tender and construction phases by evaluating shop drawings, conducting site inspections and resolving coordination issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering coordination standards and lessons‑learned initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil and structural design coordination for large‑scale hospitality or resort projects.
• Strong understanding of integration with architecture, MEP, landscape and infrastructure disciplines.
• Familiarity with local building regulations, seismic and fire safety codes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external consultants and internal project teams.
