About the role

The Commercial Performance Manager (CPM) drives performance for the International Premium Spirits (IPS) and Reserve portfolio in Kenya. The role owns performance management, distribution targets, sales in trade, shipment, distributor forward cover and joint‑up customer plans, ensuring every activity translates into measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead daily tracking of Performance Management, Sales in Trade (SIT) and Distributor Forward Cover (DFC) across IPS and Reserve.
  • Lead weekly and monthly tracking of Distribution (ND), SIT and DFC across IPS and Reserve, producing a Commercial Performance Dashboard.
  • Track weekly building blocks and purchase plans.
  • Provide ad‑hoc reporting for Premium Spirits as needed.
  • Translate insights into actionable interventions.
  • Weekly and monthly tracking of Reserve Division performance.
  • Lead Divisional Leadership Team (DLT) discussions on performance, highlighting opportunities and tracking agreed actions.
  • Support the team in converting commercial operations reports into corrective actions.
  • Supervise and manage Joint Up Customer Plans (JUCP) across IPS and Reserve.
  • Conduct impact assessments measuring commercial and brand outcomes.
  • Share JUCP impact with teams for corrective action and with the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) for accountability.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Marketing team to ensure cycle brief execution.
