Business Development Manager – AgriTech Solutions

About the role
Synnefa, an innovative ag‑tech startup, is looking for a Business Development Manager to accelerate growth of its Smart Solar Dryers, smart greenhouses and FarmCloud software. Reporting to the CEO, you will shape enterprise sales strategies and build high‑value partnerships across institutional, corporate and cooperative segments.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full enterprise revenue cycle – from pipeline generation to proposal, contract negotiation and collections.
- Structure and close high‑value deals, handling pricing, financing terms, payment schedules and margin guarantees.
- Design and execute a repeatable go‑to‑market playbook for long‑cycle, consultative sales.
- Coordinate cross‑functional hand‑offs with tech, production, field operations and finance to ensure deal feasibility.
- Establish commercial metrics, pipeline hygiene and regular sales cadence dashboards.
- Negotiate financing arrangements with banks, MFIs and other financiers to enable end‑user credit.
- Provide market feedback to product, pricing and delivery teams, safeguarding margin and fit‑to‑market.
Required profile
- Proven experience driving enterprise sales and strategic partnerships, preferably in ag‑tech or related technology sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to manage complex negotiations and financing structures.
- Excellent stakeholder management across technical, operational and financial functions.
