Country Manager Kenya

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead its operations in Kenya. Based in Nairobi, the role focuses on driving growth, managing key therapeutic portfolios, and strengthening relationships with distributors and health authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Set and achieve country sales targets for oncology, mental health and immunology products.
• Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation and performance reporting.
• Lead the launch of innovative new products, including regulatory submissions, market‑access strategies and tender negotiations.
• Co‑lead execution of mental‑health projects and ensure funding through reimbursement bodies.
• Oversee collaboration with local distributors to optimise the value chain and stock levels.
• Maintain compliance with Kenyan legislation and uphold the company’s reputation and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth.
• Ability to navigate regulatory and market‑access environments in Kenya.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Commitment to ethical business practices and corporate responsibility.
